In the Valley forge to Philladelphia trail you might want to add that it goes through historic Manayunk, and parallels the Schulykill River almost all the way. One also must be careful through Norristown and Conshohocken due to the trail not being complete. There are great restaurants in Manayunk and the trail will take one through Fairmount Park. There is also access to the Wissahicon Creek trails from this trail. It has about seven miles of easy gravel road and about ten miles of single track. The skill level for for the single track is intermediate to pro. Hikers, horses, and bikes are are allowed on the trails.

Maps are available through the Friends of the Wissahickon club.
