At this camp you must fill out a permit at park ranger house off of Rt. 501 at main entrance, there you can also get a map of the trails (it's on the back of permit paper). There are fire roads and plenty of single tracks (all marked by trail signs) that can get pretty technical. The permit is free they just want to know who is on the mt. We usually park at pumping station road off of Rt. 322 2-3 miles west of Rt. 501 that way you can ride the camp or the state game lands that border the camp. The game lands are awesome but if you don't know the trails there you can get lost real fast. so start at Camp Mac and if I meet up with any Chester Countians I'll take you on the game lands and show you a cool spot we call the "moon" -- you have to see it.
